The construction on Yamate-dori, as seen from my office, looking North just North of Higashi-Nakano Station. They’ve moved the Southbound lanes into their permanent positions, and are still working on the Northbound lanes. Next, they’re building a new entrance to the subway, building interlocking brick sidewalks, and planting trees between the sidewalk and the street. It’ll take almost another year to complete.
