I now drive both a car and a moped - the car for comfort, the bike for fun. Reading about your experiences makes me nostalgic for driving school. It was quite insane at times, and hard to stay awake during the `lectures` (one of the instructors reading very, very quickly from the driving manual) on cold November nights...but I want to go back! It did wonders for my Japanese, and it was a unique chance for me to be a student in a Japanese school instead of a teacher. I think I`ll go take the motorbike course.
